The Wordfence team has uncovered a sophisticated attack campaign that is targeting the recently disclosed cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the “AMP for WP” plugin for WordPress.

In today’s blog post, we explain how to protect yourself against this vulnerability and describe the attack in detail. We outline the attack chain and include indicators of compromise (IOCs) for security operations teams, developers and other vendors, to help defend against this adversary.
